I Love Lugang! -- Best Beef Noodles in Manila

Been meaning to try out Lugang for months but parking was just ridiculous! *Grrrhhh*
So yesterday, we were in the area so I thought we'd eat at Lugang if there's parking. Well there was, and very pleased did we park across the road.

I'm not a Xiao Long Bao fan, so I can't say much about this. BUT, their Beef Noodles were to die for!!! Never mind that it just had thin slivers of meat. The soup and the mian xian was super satisfying, I almost forgot about my order!!! I attempted to order something healthy, but satisfying, so I ordered this Tofu with Shredded Pork. Ordered extra rice. Finished it.

Will brave the parking for Lugang again.

For the quality, not pricey at all! Lugang is located at: 116 Connecticut St. Northeast Greenhills.

Shiok - - Cheap Thrills

Shiok - costing very little in Chinese

Picked up Roxanne on our way to Mercato, but its closed!!! *grrrhhh* Someone told me its open the whole day on Saturdays! He was just there last night so I took his word!

I loved the Kailan Veggies, the not so hainanese chicken. I didn't like their chinese version of Lechon Kawali and the fish ball noodles -- which is their version of Laksa. This is the 5th time I tried the char kue tiao and its so far so good. Would probably come back for that and that alone.

I Love Banana Leaf's Curry Clams!

Back when Paulo and I were just "malling', our favorite mall was Robinson's Ermita. So just for kicks, we went there for lunch last Sunday. We couldn't decide what to eat. That and it took him forever to decide. So I said let's try Banana Leaf - the promo with HSBC is still running. *yayyy!*

I never had curry clams. It just sounds so ordinary but the table beside us really knew what to order. They had prawns, soup, many types of protein. Siyempre we ordered chicken curry. But we agreed to try something new and its so delicious. ... So yummy I'm getting hungry again.

Piadina - Solaris One

So Lisa and I decided to have a late lunch last month (haha!) and we decided to try Piadina at Solaris One -- right along dela Rosa St. I was actually craving for something creamy. Something gooey like Carbonara. But i lovePiadina's Fried Mozarella. They don't serve it the way they used to, drizzling it with anchovies -- years ago. But this value meal hits the spot. I think its PHP 210.00. I just cant remember if it includes taxes already.
